Part Details

SKU: #8169
Item: Nintendo Coin Door
Part Type: Other
Usually Ships: This item is no longer available
Possible reason: this item may have been sold.

Original Nintendo upright arcade game coin door in average condition. This is the door used on most classic Nintendo upright games such as Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. and Popeye. This door is bent in the middle, definitely not perfect, but usable on a game. Complete with coin mechs and some wiring. Could use a fresh coat of paint to made even nicer, but certainly usable as it is.

Coin-Op Overview
In the game, your player plays as "Jump Man" (later known as Mario) in search of his captured girlfriend who has been taken by none other than Donkey Kong. This game is a classic platform style game, consisting of four levels.

You control Jump Man using a 4-way joystick for movement and a button for jumping. The joystick does not center, so it feels slightly different than other games (Pac-Man for example). The buttons are slightly smaller than the standard 1" buttons, so if they are replaced they need to be replaced with similar Nintendo buttons, or the holes in the control panel need to be slightly enlarged.
