Asteroids

Missing some parts, but should be repairable
$75.00

Original Atari Asteroids arcade game circuit board from 1980. Consider this one a fixer upper, we found it in a box with some other boards. It is missing some components: looks like some voltage regulators, its pots, roms, crystal, reset button, processor and some caps in the vector section. Otherwise in good used condition, no signs of corrosion or rust, just some typical dirt from sitting over the years, but not too bad.  Original Atari Part #A034986-05.

Sold as-is, needing repair.

Quick Game Facts
Asteroids

Game play is straightforward and very fast paced after the first couple of stages. You control your space ship with one mission; survive by avoiding and destroying asteroids that fly throughout the screen and the occasional UFO that is always out to get you. In addition to your ship's blaster your ship is aided with hyperspace, which instantly transports you somewhere else on the screen.

Coin-Op Overview

Easily one of the top five most successful arcade games released and arguably Atari's most successful game. Asteroids was known to devour quarters when released. Some arcade operators we've spoken to said that they had cut a hole in the quarter box and put trash cans in the game to hold all of the money the game made when it was released.
