Defender Sound x 3

Lot of three fixer upper Defender Sound boards

Lot of three Williams Defender arcade game sound circuit boards (small, square version). These boards do NOT work and will need to be repaired.  One has a few damaged components and one is missing a processor. The third one appears to be complete.  Some of the legs on two of them are tarnished, consider all of them needing repair/rebuilding.

Boards are sold as-is, see pictures for more details on their exact condition.

Quick Game Facts

You pilot a space craft which must defend the planet from invasion. Watch out, or the aliens will swoop down and pick up the humans, turning them into mutants. When all of your humans are gone, you're as good as dead.

This game was the first game to feature action that occurs outside of the play area. You must constantly monitor the radar on the top of the screen.

Coin-Op Overview

A notoriously difficult game, Williams hit a home run with Defender in 1980. The fast pace nature of the game, combined along with its FIVE control buttons and up/down joystick, sent many "newbie" players packing. However, with lots of practice, and lots of quarters, many players got to be extremely good at Defender.
