Donkey Kong Jr. Marquee

Reproduction plexi Donkey Kong Junior Marquee
$50.00

Reproduction plexiglas Nintendo Donkey Kong Jr. upright arcade game marquee. Marquee measures 22 3/8" wide by 5 7/8" tall x 1/8" thick to match the original size marquee of Donkey Kong Jr. cabinets (also the same size as Donkey Kong and Popeye marquees).

This marquee is digitally printed on 1/8" thick plexiglas by a professional printing company. The digital printing is then sealed with a screen printed coat of white on back of the marquee. These turned out very nice and look fantastic.

Donkey Kong Junior

Nintendo followed up Donkey Kong with a hit sequel in 1982, Donkey Kong Junior. In the sequel, the storyline is reversed: the player plays as Donkey Kong’s son, Donkey Kong Junior and takes on Mario who portrays the enemy. The platform game contains four stages in which Junior must release his imprisoned father while avoid enemies such as snap jaws and blue birds.

Coin-Op Overview

Donkey Kong Jr. featured a cabinet similar in shape to the original, but orange instead of blue. The cabinet features side art decals depicting the game’s character in a comical scene. The game, along with its predecessor, Donkey Kong, were two of a small handful of classic games to have their own cereals made.
