Donkey Kong Junior

Complete set, does NOT work

Original Nintendo Donkey Kong Jr. arcade game board (the two board set, mounted on the original metal plate) that is NOT working.  We found this one in a box of parts from a warehouse cleanout recently, it does appear to be complete, doesn't do anything on power-up.  We did notice the board has a greasy / oily substance on some ICs.

Definitely a board that needs to be cleaned and repaired, we just don't have the motivation or time to take it on.  See pictures for more details, boardset sold as-is, no returns.

Donkey Kong Junior

Nintendo followed up Donkey Kong with a hit sequel in 1982, Donkey Kong Junior. In the sequel, the storyline is reversed: the player plays as Donkey Kong’s son, Donkey Kong Junior and takes on Mario who portrays the enemy. The platform game contains four stages in which Junior must release his imprisoned father while avoid enemies such as snap jaws and blue birds.

Coin-Op Overview

Donkey Kong Jr. featured a cabinet similar in shape to the original, but orange instead of blue. The cabinet features side art decals depicting the game’s character in a comical scene. The game, along with its predecessor, Donkey Kong, were two of a small handful of classic games to have their own cereals made.
