USPS Shipping Delays (8/3/21)

Please note that the US Post Office is still experiencing delays in delivery times although things do seem to be improving. We still CANNOT guarantee any USPS delivery time at this time and recommend using UPS if you have concerns about transit times.

Also we are no longer shipping to some countries (Spain, Greece, Italy to name a few).  We have had too many issues with packages not arriving and will not ship to these countries for the forseeable future.

Boots and plays, sound issue, sold AS-IS!
$180.00

Original Bally Midway Galaga arcade game circuit board in good condition from 1981.  We picked this one up in a recent bulk buy and were surprised to see it boot up after testing (it probably has been sitting on a shelf for many years).  It does play, but there are sound issues, no music, other sound effects missing.  We are selling it as-is, although it is close to working, in our experience these boards usually need sockets replaced, custom ICs cleaned, etc. We have no confidence it will stay working unless it is gone over.

This particular boardset is fairly clean, please see pictures for more details on its condition.

Board is sold close to working, but AS-IS.

Quick Game Facts
Galaga

Wow, what a great follow up to Galaxian! Galaga is arguably the best space shooter game of the 80s.

You control the ship at the bottom of the screen, and you have to defeat swarm after swarm of enemies. If you allow your ship to be captured, you can release it and then you'll have two guns to fight with. Featuring bonus rounds, and variations in each wave, Galaga is still a favorite today.

Coin-Op Overview

Galaga is definitely one of the most collected games today, up there with Ms. Pac-Man, Tempest, and Dragon's Lair. Since Galaga can still earn its keep in the arcades, they are worth just as much to the arcade operators as they are to the collector. As such, Galaga machines command a high price.

In 2000, Namco released an updated combo game featuring Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. You could also play "Pac-Man" by entering a special code.
