Mario Bros. Fixer Upper Lot x 3

Two CPU and one Video boards, all not working

Lot of three original Nintendo Mario Bros. arcade game circuit boards that do NOT work.  These boards will need some repair work, but we believe they can be brought back. Here is a rundown:

  1. Video Board - complete, fairly clean, doesn't do much of anything on boot with good CPU board.
  2. CPU Board #1 - Missing 5L, some lighter corrosion near battery holder, but traces look good, should be repairable. Roms and Z-80 tested okay. Boots to garbage
  3. CPU Board #2 - Missing 5L, boots to garbage. Looks like sound amplifier section was populated at one point (it is usually empty).

Boards are sold as-is needing repair. See photos for more details on their condition.

Quick Game Facts
Mario Bros.

Nintendo did not release a ton of “classic” games, but most of the games the company did release were a bit successful. Mario Bros. falls into that category, the game features Mario (and Luigi) from Donkey Kong fame in a platform game.

Coin-Op Overview

Game play is straightforward: defeat all enemies on each level by jumping into the floor below them to kick them over. Once an enemy is down jump up to that floor and kick them aside.

The game’s original cabinet is known as “wide-body” as it is a few inches wider than most cabinets. The design allows more room for two players to play co-operatively.
