Omega Race Boardset

Untested, lighter corrosion in one spot

Original Midway Omega Race  arcade game mother board circuit board from 1981 that is missing a rom and has some lighter corrosion near the battery holder.  We do think this one could be repaired as the corrosion damage is minimal, looks like a few caps and resistors might need to be replaced and maybe one or two ICs in that location.  Boardset is untested, but probably safe to assume it does not work as it has been sitting for many years and is missing a rom.

Includes the sound board (also untested, but complete and in good shape) and metal brackets as well.

It is being sold as-is, needing repair. See pictures for more details on its condition.

Omega Race

Take control of your "Omegan Space Fighter" and fight the waves of enemy droid ships in an Asteroids-type game. Omega Race was Midway’s first and only vector game. The game plays somewhat like Asteroids, you’re mission is to destroy enemy ships in a track-like setting. The controls on the game are unique, the game uses and encoder wheel which controls the direction of the ship and a thrust button to control the movement.
