Taito Linear Power Supply x 2

2 Taito Elevator Action, Jungle King, Qix, power supplies missing a couple parts

Pair of two original Taito linear power supply used in many of its early games such as Jungle Hunt, Jungle King, Elevator Action, Zoo Keeper, Qix and many others.

These power supplies are missing a few parts. One is missing a large cap, the other two bridge rectifiers.  Otherwise the look to be complete.  We suspect they don't work, as in our experience they usually need to be rebuilt. See pictures for more details.

Quick Game Facts
Zoo Keeper

Arguably Taito’s best classic game, Zookeeper features fantastic game play with a great theme. The object of the game is simple, as Zeke the Zookeeper you must keep all of the animals in the cage, which is constantly being destroyed by the animals trying to escape and rebuilt by Zeke. The game also features two additional stages one in which in Zeke must rescue his girlfriend Zelda (much like Donkey Kong) and the second in which in Zeke can receive an extra guy by jumping over animals.

Coin-Op Overview

Unlike most of Taito’s earlier games, Zookeeper’s cabinet features wonderful artwork depicting a Lion escaping from the Zoo among other things. Most of Taito’s other games (such as Qix, Jungle Hunt and Elevator Action) were manufactured in a standard “Taito” cabinet, which had the word “Taito” on each side and a rather boring design. While most Zookeeper cabinets were done in only orange and blue, some were released with color side-art.
