Williams Classic Fixer Upper Lot x 12

Large lot of assorted Defender, Stargate, Joust, etc boards that need work
$400.00

Large lot of 12 assorted Williams classic arcade game circuit boards for Defender, Stargate, Joust and Robotron games.   It is safe to assume that none of these boards work. We are just clearing out excess boards from over the years.  Some of these are probably parts, but most could probably brought back with some patience and skill.  Here's a quick rundown:

  • Williams CPU x 5 - two have corrosion and are probably parts boards.  Two are fairly clean with some bent pins, missing header pins, etc.  One is somewhere in between.
  • Sound boards x 3 - two are faily clean, one has some corrosion / moisture damage in the center, but maybe repairable.
  • Rom x 4 - looks like one Defender (complete), one Stargate (missing 74154 IC), one Robotron (complete), one Joust/Robotron (no roms).  Most these are probably repairable.

See photos for more details on what is included and their condition, etc. Boards are sold as-is, needing repair.

Quick Game Facts
Robotron: 2084

Third in the Defender, Stargate series. In this, the last incaration, you are saving the humans yet again. You have to watch out for various bad guys trying to kill you and "the family." As with most Williams games of this era, the game is extremely fast-paced, and intense.

Coin-Op Overview

The game features two 8-way joysticks: one for moving your character, and one for firing. It takes a bit of practice, but eventually a player can get the hang of moving in one direction and firing in a completely different direction.
