Williams CPU Board, Rev. B

Used in Joust, Robotron, Sinistar, Stargate

Original, tested and working Williams CPU boardset used in its Joust, Robotron, Sinistar and Stargate arcade games. Listing is for the CPU board only, this particular board is a Rev. B CPU (Part #5770-09656-00) and has been tested and works fine.  Note that we have not done any preventative maintenance on this board and do feel like they are getting to the poitn where they do need that sometimes (new ram, new header pins, replacing sockets, etc.). Because of this we are selling it working, but as-is.  We did bench test for quite a few hours over the course of a week while testing other Williams boards and it ran fine during this time.

Quick Game Facts
Robotron: 2084

Third in the Defender, Stargate series. In this, the last incaration, you are saving the humans yet again. You have to watch out for various bad guys trying to kill you and "the family." As with most Williams games of this era, the game is extremely fast-paced, and intense.

Coin-Op Overview

The game features two 8-way joysticks: one for moving your character, and one for firing. It takes a bit of practice, but eventually a player can get the hang of moving in one direction and firing in a completely different direction.
