Williams Defender / Pinball Sound x 2

Pair of fixer upper Williams Sound boards

Pair of original Williams Defender / and System 7 pinball machine sound circuit boards (one small, square version, one rectangular version). These boards do NOT work and will need to be repaired.  What you see is what you get, one is missing its processor and crystal, one its sound rom.  They could use a good cleaning and probably some repair work.

Boards are sold as-is, see pictures for more details on their exact condition.

Quick Game Facts

You pilot a space craft which must defend the planet from invasion. Watch out, or the aliens will swoop down and pick up the humans, turning them into mutants. When all of your humans are gone, you're as good as dead.

This game was the first game to feature action that occurs outside of the play area. You must constantly monitor the radar on the top of the screen.

Coin-Op Overview

A notoriously difficult game, Williams hit a home run with Defender in 1980. The fast pace nature of the game, combined along with its FIVE control buttons and up/down joystick, sent many "newbie" players packing. However, with lots of practice, and lots of quarters, many players got to be extremely good at Defender.
