Quick Game Facts
Mad Dog McCree

Introduced in 1990, its movie-laserdisc-driven graphics and cowboy gun theme was an alternative to the deluge of Street Fighter II machines clogging arcades at that time. The player was a sheriff, navigated through shooting scenarios of duels, Hogan's Alley-style shoot-outs and tests of accuracy. However, exorbitant price per play along with play control evoking the worst of Dragon's Lair or Space Ace kept many kids' quarters up on the SF II monitors, waiting in line to challenge the resident Ken or Chun Li expert.
